Alpha Bangura Jr. | Team Durant/Westtown (PA) ’21
Bangura is an effective rim protector who showcases a unique blend of coordination to go along with an outstanding first and second jump. He is fearless and prideful when protecting the rim.
Malachi Briscoe | District Basketball Club/St. Mary’s Ryken (MD) ’22
Briscoe is armed with length and athleticism which aid him in his efforts to patrol the paint. He is a chase-down artist who tracks the ball well and can get off the floor in a hurry.
Marcel Gardner Marcel Gardner 6'9" | C St. Andrew's | 2023 State MD | New World/St. Andrew’s (MD) ’23
Gardner is a towering paint presence who not only blocks shots at a good rate but also alters many others. His influence as a shot-blocker/alterer will only increase as he gets stronger and continues to fill out.
Jonathan Izemef Jonathan Izemef 6'9" | C National Christian | 2021 State MD | New World (DC) ’21
Standing at about 6-foot-9, Izemef is like a brick wall in the paint. When he throws his arms up, there’s nowhere for foes to go.
Quentin Toulson Quentin Toulson 6'5" | PF Collegiate | 2022 VA | Team Richmond/Collegiate (VA) ’22
Toulson is a tall forward who plays with a high motor and is good for at least 1 block per game as a result. Shot-blocking might not be his primary strength but its certainly something he does well.
