Will Groot 6”8. (2022) COLLEGIATE SCHOOL
This lefty big man can score with both hands. Real nice scoring touch over right shoulder. Reliable catch and shoot 18 feet and in. Has improved in his face up jab and drive. Great weakside defender. Makes the opponents big man work hard to get the ball. Will positions himself really good in post defense.
Will Franks 6”6. (2022) COLLEGIATE SCHOOL
Really efficient catch and shoot player from the perimeter. Has improved on attacking the rim off of a very nice shot fake dribble drive. Handles the ball really well in transition. Anticipates well on defense and uses his length to cause disruption. High basketball IQ. Knows how to create space for himself and cut off of screens.
Bangaly Berete. 6”5. (2023) IONA PREP HS
A big, long, combo guard. Can guard multiple positions. Uses his length in coming up with steals. Flat out scorer. Handles the ball really well enabling him to drive it or get to his spots to shoot it.
Nico Andrew 6”2. (2023) STEPINAC HS
A combo guard. Very effective at getting to the basket. Strong finisher. Really good playmaker. Has an excellent pull up game off the dribble.
Nick Padilla. 5”9. (2023) DWIGHT SCHOOL
True point guard. Floor general and coach on the floor. Really quick. Knows how to draw the defense towards him and then blows by or makes the right pass. Can score on all three levels. Really nice floater in the lane. His decision making makes him dangerous in transition. Really pesky on the opposing point guard because of his strong base and quick feet.
Jack Guevara 6”0. (2023) MOLLOY HS
High basketball IQ. Very crafty with the ball. Finds ways to score using both hands. Scrappy defender and really good rebounder for his size. Played an integral part for the City Freshman championship team.
Noah Best. 6”5. (2022) MOUNT ST MICHAEL HS
Can score on all 3 levels. Great feel for the game. High IQ player. Uses his length and anticipation skill to disrupt on the defensive end. Be sure to check out our recruiting report on Noah.
Orlando Wallace. 6”9. (2022) IONA PREP HS
Orlando is also in our recruiting report and our 2022 players to watch with Noah. Orlando has put on 10 pounds of muscle during this downtime. Extremely quick leader. A rim protector. Plays above the rim. Finishes with both hands. Runs the floor really well.
Jean-Marc Togodgue. 6”6. (2022) SALISBURY SCHOOL (CT)
Extremely coachable. Runs the floor. Never takes a play off. A beast in the post. Nice right hand jump hook over left shoulder. Really good on the glass. Cleans up a lot of misses.
