Jaden Alexander Jaden Alexander 6'4" | SF St. Pats- St. Vin | 2021 State CA-N 6’4 Wing/Small Forward. St. Patrick-St. Vincent HS (Vallejo, CA)
The athletic wing looks to be in superb condition. He has shown himself to be a rising prospect in the 2021 class. Really hard to contain in the transition game. He can handle the ball, get to the rim for dunks and strong finishes from the perimeter. He has good bounce on his mid-range game. At 6’4 he hits the boards in a big way. He told me he’s been working on his range and shooting form.
Cole Despie 6’2 Shooting Guard, Bellarmine College Prep, HS (San Jose, CA)
Despie was the best pure shooter at the clinic. He has a good shooting form, range and he’s confident in his shot. He hit 3’s in transition and in half court action. Making three’s opens the lanes for strong takes to the basket. He doesn’t force, just takes what’s there. He’s a capable ball handler.
Isaiah Kerr Isaiah Kerr 6'2" | CG St. Francis | 2022 State CA-N 6’2 Point Guard, Saint Francis, HS (Mountain View, CA)
Kerr was the only 2022 prospect at the clinic. He more than held his own. He’s been putting in work in the weight room. He looked fit and willing to take on the body contact while driving inside for finishes, and pull up jumpers in the key. He worked well from the perimeter looking more confident shooting from the outside. Light on his feet, can be pesky on defense.
Lee Hubbard 6’1 Point Guard, Archbishop Riordan HS (San Francisco, CA)
The pass first point guard has spent sometime in the weight room getting his body stronger. The well conditioned Hubbard looks ready to lead the Crusaders into the next season. He looked good pushing the ball in transition, head up, always looking to pass or take is strong to the basket. He showed good form shooting from 3, something he’s been working on, along with his mid-range shot. Long arms, good lateral movement , pesky on defense.
Taj Phillips Taj Phillips 5'9" | PG Bishop O'Dowd | 2021 State CA-N 5’9 Point Guard, Bishop O’Dowd, HS (Oakland, CA)
The calm steady floor leader looks to get everybody going, he has good court vision, gets the ball to the right players at the right time. Showed he can knock down the 3 if you slack off too much. Always aware of whats going on, on both ends of the court.
Josh Wolf-Bloom Josh Wolf-Bloom 6'4" | SF Bellarmine College Prep | 2021 State CA-N 6’4 Forward, Bellarmine College Prep. (San Jose,CA)
Wolf-bloom is in the Glue Guy Club. Although wants to be more of an offensive threat. He’s an energetic player who is underrated as a passer, and ball handler, he has good court vision. He may not be a point guard, but he does a good job of facilitating on the court. He’s been spending a lot of time working on his perimeter jumper. A scrappy defender, and active going after rebounds.
