One Player To Watch: David Lloyd David Lloyd 6'4" | SF Indianapolis North Central | 2022 State IN
David Lloyd David Lloyd 6'4" | SF Indianapolis North Central | 2022 State IN is a bigger guard with a big frame and good handling ability. He still has the potential to grow some more, but his handles are best for an on-ball player so it will be interesting to see what is in store for him in the future. He has a really solid skillset and is a pretty all-around player. He will be a fun player to watch this summer, and he will be a fun player to watch down the road as well.
One Player We Need To See More: Daniel Harris Daniel Harris 6'0" | PG Muncie Central | 2023 IN
Daniel Harris Daniel Harris 6'0" | PG Muncie Central | 2023 IN is a smaller, younger guard with lots of potential. Playing up two age groups, he has to have both fearlessness and confidence, and he does not lack either one of these things in any way. He is still thin, but he knows how to use all of his strength to make plays. He can do a little bit of everything as he is quick and shifty, and he has the ability to create and hit the open man when he has the chance. Obviously, we need to see more of him over the next three years, but he is very impressive for his age. He could be a difference-maker for this young team.
One Player That Should Surprise: Caleb Swearingen Caleb Swearingen 6'4" | SG Northview | 2021 State IN
Caleb is a taller guard who can handle the ball really well and score in basically every way that you can think of. When on the ball, he can get to the rim, pull-up for a jumper, or drive and dish to the open man. With his size, he creates very difficult matchups for opponents as not many players with his size can defend a player with his ball-handling ability. He can play basically any position on the floor at this level, but I think he is going to be more of a 2 or a 3 at the next level. Caleb is going to surprise everyone who sees him for the first time with his versatility to do absolutely anything on the basketball court.
