Well it’s very true, now college programs know where the players are and can secure them even without playing for 6 months. Here are the new interest, offers and commitments from D1 schools. All of these players have been featured in my previous reports if you would like to see a scouting report on their game.
Jordan Riley the human high school highlight film is an explosive player at 6”4. My pick for NY state player of the year and a top-five talent in all of New York. The Brentwood HS(2021) player has an impressive list of schools he has brought down to his top five. St. John’s, Georgetown , Kansas, Florida State and Uconn.
Orlando Wallace the 6”9 Iona Prep (2022) player has received an offer from Stony Brook University. He has interest from Manhattan and Rutgers. Orlando can score around the rim. A very active player. He is a force on both ends of the floor.

(2021) the Stepinac big man has made his decision he will play at Boston University. He had 18 offers. He and his family have decided B U was the best fit for his education and talent. They showed main interest in him, from the beginning. The Terriers are getting a player who can play with his back to the basket and his very efficient 15 feet and in.
Samuel Gibbs a 6”2 crafty point guard from Stepinac HS (2022). He is a pass-first guard with a high skill set. But make no mistake this guy can knock down shots. Samuel gets it done on the court and in the classroom. His recruiting has been steadily increasing. Currently has offers from Bryant, Manhattan, St. Peters, and interest from the Ivy league schools as well as Drexel, and Air Force.
Joel Baez is a very versatile player for Stepinac HS(2022). He can play the 1-2-3 position and at 6”4 that opens up a lot of ways to use this player. An excellent rebounder who can also get to the rim. Has offers from Manhattan and Bryant. Schools who are on him are Marist, Cornell, Drexel, Boston U, Iona, Niagara, Brown.
Noah Best even in a shortened season the Mount St. Michael junior(2022) is starting to heat up. He had an early offer from Stony Brook and in the last 2 weeks he has been offered by Manhattan and Robert Morris. What must interest these schools is that Noah at 6”4 is still growing. Noah uses his length on the defensive end. He is a player with a high ceiling who improves every time you see him.
Rafael Andres Pinzon (2021) a big point guard at 6”6 for Long Island Lutgeran HS. Can score at all three levels. Very crafty at getting to the rim. Manages the game from the point guard position. He has just received an offer from New Mexico. Other schools in on him are South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Iona, Xavier, Georgia, Louisville.
Kacper Klaczek another player from Long Island Lutheran(2021). This 6”8 player can drill the three. He is a point forward type player. Very good rebounder who likes to mix it up in the post as well. Has interest from Virginia Tech, Princeton, Georgia Tech, California, Quinnipiac, and an offer for Holy Cross.
Drissa Traore is a 6”9 (2021) freak athlete. Finishes around the rim. On the defensive end he is a rim protector for Long Island Lutheran. Reminds the coaching staff of Hakeem Warrick. Has multiple offers from St Johns, Illinois, Stony Brook, Fordham, Umass, Lasalle, and Marist.
Malachi Smith (2021) a 6”1 guard for St. Rays HS. One of the best players in the top NY league chsaa. Always looking to attack the basket. Extremely hard to guard. Very crafty finding ways to score or get his teammates involved. Has offers from Umass, St Peters, Seton Hall, Rutgers, Georgetown, Washington State, East Carolina, Iona, Wake Forest, Robert Morris, Stony Brook Dayton, and Quinnipiac.
Andres Marrero (2021) is 6”5 combo guard from Upper Room Christian. Really smooth player. Consistently knocks down shots. Makes all the right plays. St Johns, St. Louis and other A10 schools have checked in on him. Siena, Fordham, and Mount St. Mary have offered.
Sterling Jones Sterling Jones 5'10" | PG Christ The King | 2021 State NY (2021) a top talent at the point guard position for Christ The Kng HS. High skill set does everything really good. Can get into lane and score, terrific passer, uses his ball handling skill to score off of his exceptional mid range game. New Mexico State, Iona and Bryant have offered. More schools will join the list he is a talented player.
