It was being reported Jordan was going to stay close to home. Coming in with a late push to convince Jordan to come to the Hoyas. The Brentwood HS senior comes from a winning program. The list came down to the final 5. It included national heavyweights Kansas, Florida State, Uconn, St. John’s and Georgetown. Jordan is a warrior. In a playoff game witnessed by Kansas assistant and NY native Norm Roberts he was injured but kept playing. Kansas intensified their interest after that game. I was also in attendance and watched Jordan block a shot, gather it and lead the break that ended with his monsterous dunk. That is Jordan, an explosive player who changes the game in an instant. The Hoya faithful will love this player. He is a high school highlight film. Trust me, he will do this in the Big East as well.
Here are a bunch of other players to catch up on as their recruitment intenifies.
Jaquan Harris Jaquan Harris 6'4" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State #164 Nation NJ is a (2022) 6”4 elite level point guard. Plays for the Jayhawks aau program out of New York. He plays for St. Aquinas HS in New Jersey. A tremendous athlete. Really good shooter. He can score at all three levels. He has a high basketball IQ. He knows where and when to get the ball to his teammates. Jaquan has offers from Marquette, Seton Hall, St. John’s, UCONN, Illinois, Auburn.
Shawn Fulcher Shawn Fulcher 5'10" | PG Xaverian | 2021 State NY a dynamic point guard for Xaverian HS (2021). He has a terrific mid range game, his pull-up is as good as anyone. Incredible court vision. A fierce competitor. Possesses a tremendous handle. Currently has offers from St. Peters, Marist and Manhattan. Interest from Fordham,Seton Hall, and Colgate. I expect this list of offers to grow quickly.
Nick Folk (2021) can score at all three levels. Also from Xaverian HS. Lights out shooter. Really good defender. He can just flat out score in a variety of ways. Robert Morris, Manhattan and St. Peters have offered. Rutgers, Quinnipiac and New Hampshire have all checked in.
Ryan Mcpartlan (2021) Fordham Prep can really shoot the ball. Has a really good first step. Scores all different ways. But he also gets it done on defense. He is sneaky quick and gets his hands in the passing lanes that leads to deflections and steals. Has a really nice floater in the lane. The Patriot league and the NEC have interest in Ryan. This is a player that teams need to act quickly on.
Tristan Jeffries also plays for the New York Jayhawks aau program. His high school is St. Aquinas in New Jersey. He is a (2022) player. Tristan is a very strong physical guard. Very athletic. Is a tremendous rebounder for his size and position. Shoots the ball really well from three but can also finish at the rim through contact.. Can also guard multiple positions. Robert Morris, Hofstra, William &Mary, Delaware and Fairfield are recruiting him the hardest.
Jason Rivera the (2023) Iona Prep guard had a great showing at the Hoop Groups future all American camp. In doing so he picked up his first offer from Bryant University. Jason has combo guard skills. He has unlimited range. What makes his ceiling so high is he is having a growth spurt. So you mix his guard skillset with added growth and you can expect a lot more offers.
