SF/PF Khamari McGriff Khamari McGriff 6'7" | PF Rickards | 2021 State FL 6-8 185 (2021) Rickards (Tallahasee)
GPA: 4.1 SAT:1300 Desired Major: Computer Science
With impeccable timing, and feet quick enough to switch onto guards, McGriff has serious potential as a rim protector. Having only played organized basketball for two years after a six-inch growth spurt, McGriff really understands the game. This past season Khamari manned the middle for state champion Rickards High school, swatting shot after shot. After scoring 7 points grabbing 11 rebounds and blocking an insane 9 shots in the state semifinal, McGriff showed the world that his best days of basketball are still ahead of him. After recently receiving his first scholarship offer from UNC-Wilmington, Mcgriff plans on continuing to work on his ball handling and offensive game. Expect more offers to come pouring in, and fast!
PG Jacob Rose 6-0 150 (2021) Oviedo
GPA: 4.0 Desired Major: Kinesiology/ Sport Medicine
A quick, shifty point guard, Rose started for 16-10 Oviedo. When looking at Jacob nothing about him screams college basketball player, however after watching him play you can tell that there is great promise. This past winter Rose averaged, 8 points and dished out 3 assists per night shooting 36 percent from 3. A defensive pest, Rose averaged 2 steals per game against top Orlando competition. After spending a summer in the weight room, Rose looks to have his best season yet.
SG Will Searl Will Searl 6'3" | CG Boone | 2021 State FL 6-3 185(2021) Boone (Orlando)
GPA: 4.1 SAT: 1280 Desired Major: Aviation/ Business
A shooting guard with some size, Searl loves to post up smaller guards in the mid range often hitting a silky fade away. After averaging 16.7 points sinking three pointer after three pointer for 17-10 Boone, Searl has caught the eye of many college coaches. A great catch and shoot guy who can run off of screens, Searl continues to add to his offensive arsenal. Defense is an area that Will has focused on improving this offseason.
PG/SG Alvaro Mendez Alvaro Mendez 6'0" | CG University | 2021 State FL 6-0 160 (2021) University(Orlando)
GPA: 4.0 Desired Major: Business Management/ Human Resources
This quick shifty guard loves to go baseline, either finishing an acrobatic layup or dishing to cutting teammates. Mendez led University in scoring averaging 12.7 points per game this past season while sinking 30 percent of his three pointers. In his final high school season Alvaro looks to improve his shot selection, and show his ability to shoot off the dribble.
SF/PF James Cone James Cone 6'5" | CG Naples | 2021 State FL 6-6 195 (2021) Naples
GPA: 4.7 Desired Major: Business
With decent size and length, James handles the ball well for a guy his size. A role player on a state semi finalist Naples team, Cone often found his teammates with slick passes leading to buckets. Riddled with ankle injuries as a junior, James looks to prove to coaches that he has improved his shooting, and his game in the post.
