The F represents the fire that they play with. The I stands for intensity. The V stands for their versatlity. And the E stands for the energy that they bring to a team on every possession.
Najee Williams Najee Williams 6'3" | SG Truman | 2021 State MO 6’3″ Truman: An explosive athlete who plays hard is a very productive player even when you don’t run plays for him. He’s an impact defender, whether he’s darting into the passing lanes or getting chase down blocks. He is always running the court and throws down transition dunks. He also has a pretty nice offensive game off the dribble.
Kalin Black Kalin Black 6'3" | SG Chrisitan-O'Fallon | 2021 State MO 6’2″ Christian-O’Fallon: An outstanding rebounder for his size who is constantly bringing his high motor to every game. As a junior, he averaged 13.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.4 steals in helping the Eagles to a berth in the Class 3 state quarterfinals. He scored on an offensive rebound in the closing seconds to give Christian a district championship.
Chevalier Brenson 6’3 CBC: A Division I football prospect, “Karate” is a high-energy player who impacts the game at both ends of the court with his athleticism and intensity. As a junior, he averaged 8.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals while shooting 61 percent from the field. On a small CBC team, he played the Draymond Green role for a Class 5 Final Four team.
Isaiah Johnson Isaiah Johnson 6'2" | PG Battle | 2021 State MO 6’2 Battle: A dynamic athlete who plays multiple roles to help his team succeed. He can get you a bucket when you need it, but is very valuable as a rebounder and defender who will bring high energy on every possession.
Cleveland Washington Cleveland Washington 6'0" | SF Lutheran North | 2021 State MO 6’0 Lutheran North: An undersized forward who played much bigger than his size as he uses his thick body to high motor to be a very productive player. He averaged 12 points a game as a junior in helping the Crusaders to a district championship.
Rico Singleton Rico Singleton 6'2" | SG Lift for Life | 2021 State MO 6’1 Lift for Life: A standout football player who brings that level of toughness to the basketball court. He averaged 13.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and two steals a game in helping the Hawks to a 20-victory season.
Jemarco Burse 6’2” South Iron: An athletic wing player who plays inside on a talented team full of guards, he is looking to rebound after missing the entire 2020 season with a knee injury. He uses his activity and motor to battle inside against taller players inside plus he has the improved perimeter skills to provide matchup problems on offense.
Brandon Ming Brandon Ming 6'5" | SF University City | 2021 State MO 6’4″ University City: A bouncy wing player who does an excellent job of the offensive boards. He is active and an excellent finisher around the basket. He averaged 12 points and five rebounds while shooting 59 percent from the field.
