CHSAA Rising Stud Seniors 2021

The Chsaa league has always been considered a proving ground for college talent. It consists of Catholic schools from Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and other surrounding areas. Here are some of the superior players for the upcoming class of 2021.

Todd Rochelle.     6”2    SR (2021)   ST. FRANCIS PREP

A very good student of the game and the classroom. This lefty player is one of the top guards in the city. He is a leader. Todd was converted to point guard and excelled in his junior year. So his coach is expecting him to grow even more as a player as he gets more comfortable at the 1. He does whatever it takes to win games. A player who just knocks down shots with the ball. An excellent defensive player. Has improved his three-point shooting. High D2, such as the NEC conference are all over him. He also has plenty of low D1 interest. Marist, Bucknell are a few. I expect his recruiting to blow up, once we get playing again.

Shawn Fulcher Shawn Fulcher 5'10" | PG Xaverian | 2021 State NY .    6”0.  SR (2021)    XAVERIAN HS

A dynamic point guard. Excellent with the ball in his hands. A tremendous competitor. Has incredible court vision. Mid-range and pull up game is sensational. Working on expanding his range. Has interest from Seton Hall, Colgate, Fordham, and other MAAC schools. Has offers from Marist, Manhattan, St. Peters. Except more and more offers to come his way.

Nick Folk.   6”1.   SR(2021)    XAVERIAN HS

Has unlimited range. Can score at all three levels. Flat out scorer. Nick can win you games with the ball in his hands but also does it while defending. Looking to improve on his playmaking ability. Robert Morris and St. Peters have offered. Rutgers, Quinnipiac, and New Hampshire all have shown interest. Will garner many more offers.

Jaden Pena    6”6.   SR (2021)     XAVERIAN HS

A multidimensional player. Attacks the offensive glass with a vengeance. Really good as a wing or a point forward player. Can score with both hands. Excellent defensive player. Working on improving his outside shooting.  Has low D1 interest from Binghamton, Quinnipiac, St Francis, and St. Peters.

Kawar Singh.   6”7.  SR (2021)    MOLLOY HS

Kawar is a strong, tough big man. Can face you up and score from 12 feet and in. Scores with both hands around the rim. Tremendous rebounder. Looking to improve on his jump shot outside of 15 feet. A player who will be exciting to watch as his recruitment begins to increase.

A true point guard.  Excellent passer.  Very good court vision. Handles the ball really well. Scores in a variety of ways. Exceptional mid range game. Can get into the lane and score. Working on improving his shot from three.
