State
KS
, 6’5, G/F, 2021 Campus
Coming off a season that saw him named the Class 6A Player of the Year, Chapman is easily the state’s biggest riser and is poised to jump up even further in the next PH Class of 2021 rankings. He has drawn offers from several Division I programs, including Wichita State, SMU, Coastal Carolina, Grand Canyon and Tulsa in recent weeks. A big, strong guard, Chapman showcased his all-around athleticism and playmaking ability as he looked to take control of games and score in bunches for a Campus team that dominated the 2019-20 season. He has great handles and can create but also has the frame which allows him to slip into a wing position and can handle some pressure down low and off the ball.
Aidan Shaw Aidan Shaw 6'7" | SF Blue Valley | 2022 State #40 Nation KS , 6’7, F, 2022, Blue Valley
A third team All-State honoree his sophomore year, Shaw is one of the top overall players in his class. He has elite height at 6’7 and shows a natural feel for both sides of the ball. He has a much improved outside shot. He can create and shows strong handles for his size and position but can also see time inside on both ends of the floor. He impresses with his length, shot blocking and defensive versatility and has the ability to cover up wings, forwards and move his feet on the perimeter with smaller guards. Shaw currently holds offers from Iowa, Mizzou, TCU, USC, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma State.
Jackie Johnson Jackie Johnson 5'11" | CG Wichita Southeast | 2021 KS , 5’9, G, 2021, Wichita SE
A first team All State performer in 6A, Johnson has recently picked up offers from Coastal Carolina and Eastern Washington. He is a quick point guard who attacks the basket at a high level. He has some of the best handles in his class and can weave in and out of coverage and looks to get to the basket and score. He has a soft shot and can connect from three-point range but is an unselfish player who looks to distribute the ball as well. Johnson also has good rebounding skills for his size and solid leaping ability and a knack for coming away with the ball.
Joe Berry Joe Berry 6'4" | CG Washburn Rural | 2021 State KS , 6’3, G, 2021, Washburn Rural
An impressive prospect in the ‘21 class who has a good upside given his size, length, playmaking ability and attention to details. Barry has a soft touch when he drives the lane and can score using floaters a jump shot and he’s good at getting to the free-throw line where he connects the high-percentage shot. A talented overall prospect who can score, make plays with his dribble and sets a tone defensively. Berry was a 6A third team All State performer. He recently picked up his first offer from Army and has drawn interest from several other Division I programs as well.
