Over the last few weeks, the Prep Hoops SoCal staff has broken down each ranking update with in-depth pieces on the top players by position, by class and covered sleepers and players to watch across the vast SoCal area. In our latests rankings coverage, we wanted to regionalize the lists a little more, and in four previous pieces we took a look at Orange County’s Top 20 players. Garrett Andre Garrett Andre 6'9" | C Villa Park | 2021 State CA-S , Villa Park – The skilled 6-foot-9 center has the ability to stretch the floor with his face-up shooting ability out to the 17-foot range. Andre has also shown signs of improved rim protection by alerting and blocking shots at the rim,

Max Bowman Max Bowman 5'11" | SG JSerra | 2021 State CA-S , JSerra – Bowman, one of the more prolific shooters in Orange County, is primed for a strong senior campaign as his prowess from three-point range becomes much more important with the departures of Ian Martinez Ian Martinez 6'3" | SG JSerra | 2020 State #47 Nation CA-S and Justin Williams Justin Williams 6'1" | SG JSerra | 2020 State #386 Nation CA-S . 

Levi Darrow, Newport Harbor – Darrow is another smart, crafty point guard in the long line of guys the Sailors have produced from this position over the last couple of years. The wiry 6-footer runs the Newport Harbor offense with poise and precision and can knock down the open catch-and-shoot three-pointer with consistency.

Andrew Valdez Andrew Valdez 5'11" | CG Godinez | 2021 State CA-S , Godinez – Valdez deserves a ton more credit for the impact he makes at Godinez. The 6-foot point guard is a dynamic playmaker in the open floor with his combination of speed, quickness when changing direction and ability to finish around the basket. Valdez averaged just under 19 points per game last season.

Aldo Ruiz-Ortiz Aldo Ruiz-Ortiz 6'3" | SF Santa Margarita | 2021 State CA-S , Santa Margarita – The defensive-minded wing is one of the very best positional defenders in Orange County and beyond. The 6-foot-3 senior-to-be drew the toughest assignments the Trinity League had to offer, including Kentucky-bound point guard Devin Askew Devin Askew 6'3" | PG Mater Dei | 2020 State #18 Nation CA-S of Mater Dei and Utah-bound combo guard Ian Martinez Ian Martinez 6'3" | SG JSerra | 2020 State #47 Nation CA-S of JSerra.
