Chukwuemeka Bielonwu- 6’1- North Garland High School
Chukwuemeka is a young long guard with an elite court sense and ability to score in the lane as well as create for his teammates. His arms should be a good indication that he is not done growing, and if he continues to, he should have a fantastic opportunity to compete at the next level. His jump shot is a little slow and low, but with work in the gym, he should easily raise and speed up his shot that has a good base, to begin with. He knocks down deep threes at a good rate when he slows down and gets his feet set and showed an ability to hit mid-range jumpers off the bounce. His intelligence with the basketball is incredibly underrated, he made great decisions with the ball, even pulling off a few touch passes to wide-open teammates. On the defensive side of the ball, his long arms allow him to contest and reject shots with ease.
Dallas Smith- 5’10- Lakeview Centennial High School
Dallas is an elite ball-handler with great potential to succeed in the near future. He showed true expertise with handling the basketball and shaking defenders out of their shoes, even at a young age. After blowing by defenders he can finish with soft floaters and layups where he is able to contort his body away from outstretched arms and defenders. He showed no fear when bigger wings tried to jump with him, he simply hung in the air and floated up difficult shots, making it look effortless. He loves to drive in the half-court and draw the attention of the defense. His game really reminds me of Kyrie Irving, and he should continue to model his game after him and other elite ball handlers who despite their size have a knack at finishing at the rim with both hands and through contact.
Aaron King- 5’9- Garland High School
Aaron is a smart guard who finds good looks for his teammates and drives to the hole with tenacity. His passes always seem to be crisp and in the perfect location for his teammates to quickly engage in a triple threat move. He has an incredibly quick first step and he is able to blow by defenders and create pressure on the defense in the full and half-court. He is an incredible athlete and has that elite ability to seemingly float in the air. He can take off from far distances and finish at the rim even through contact. I am incredibly impressed with his game despite his age and size and I believe with hard work and focus he could easily have a career at the next level if he continues his development as a player. He reminds me a lot of Nate Robinson with a lightning quick step, explosive jumping ability and intelligence to run an offense.
Jordan Hudgins- Combo Guard 6’3- Wylie High School
Jordan has long arms and a high basketball intelligence who plays the passing lanes well. He also has a knack for predicting where his opponent wants to dribble and is able to position himself and cut off driving lanes and grab steals. He is good at keeping his head up after grabbing rebounds and finding the smart outlet pass to set up the break. He is even able to hit the corner three at a respectable clip and forces bigger defenders to come out and leave the paint unprotected. Even with his frame he runs the floor well for easy layups and is smart when he is the trailer on the fast break and spots up well atop the key.
Coleman Craddock- 5’10- Naaman Forest
Coleman is a guard who has long arms who seems like he is not done growing and has a chance of being a guard at the next level. He plays passing lanes with tenacity to cut off opportunities for his opponents. He is a real heads up guard who recognizes when the ball handler is in trouble and immediately moves to cut off the easiest pass for them. He is great at running the fast break, finishing through contact with ease as well as making the right decision to hit open teammates, slow it up or bull forward for a layup plus the foul. I was shocked to find out he is only 5’10 as he plays with height in length in his game. He will need to become a scoring weapon for Naaman Forest to create a three-head monster with

Jalil Brown- 5’9- South Garland High School
Jalil is a scrappy small guard with a sniper for a jump shot. He is incredibly accurate when he gets his feet set and shoulder square and loves operating in the corners. His elite ability to score like this should open up the rest of his game in the near future. He showed expertise in manipulating the sideline and his defender with jab steps and took intelligent drives to the hoop to disrupt the defense and create opportunities for his teammates.
