Below, we’ll highlight some of the talents that Seattle Select Coach Chase Young has brought together at the 16u level. Seattle Select Basketball is an elite AAU program for athletes who have proven themselves on the court and in the classroom. The teams and their coaches are committed to creating an environment that fosters hard work, leadership, and teamwork.
Russell Van Bebber | 6’7″ F | O’Dea High School, 2022 | 3.7 GPA
Honors Student in Math and English
Russel is a force in the paint as both a rebounder and scorer, and despite his natural gifts at 6’7″, his intellect and mentality are equally integral to his success on the court and in the classroom.
Jamare’ Childs | 6’2″ G | Kennedy Catholic, 2022 | 3.3 GPA
3rd Team All-League – Honor Roll – AP Math
12 ppg – 4 apg – 4 rpg
The total package in terms of energy, athleticism, defending, and natural talent. Jamare’ has already proven himself to be one of the states best 2022 prospects, and he has a very high ceiling.

Danilo Petrovic Danilo Petrovic 6'3" | SG Roosevelt | 2022 State WA | 6’4″ F | Roosevelt High School, 2022 | 3.7 GPA
Most-Improved Player – 5 double-doubles – 170 rebounds – Honor Roll
11 ppg – 2.5 apg – 7.5 rpg – 1.1 bpg
Petrovic is a tough 6’4″ who uses his strength to grab rebounds against bigger opponents. His coach describes him as a “gritty, humble workhorse.”
Noah Kuizon | 5’9″ G | Roosevelt High School, 2022 | 3.7 GPA
Varsity Team Captain – AP and Honors Classes
Noah is Roosevelt’s sophomore captain and a vocal leader for the Rough Riders. He has great ball-handling and plays challenging defense on opponents. Kuizon hopes to study Engineering in the future.
Ian MacPherson | 6’1″ G | Ballard High Schol, 2022 | 3.56 GPA
2-year Varsity Starter – Leads team in Assists and FT% – Full Honors Course Load
MacPherson is a varsity starter in the Seattle Metro League with a full skillset and a 6’5″ wingspan.

Back-to-back 3A State Finals – 2-year Varsity Letterman – Honor Roll
An all-around athlete who can score in multiple ways. He can handle pressure as well as he can dish it out.
Jeshua Hardie | 6’2″ W | Timberline High School, 2022 | 3.55 GPA
2x Varsity Letterman – 2x Most-Improved – “Mr. Hustle” Award – Honor Roll – Principal Academic Achievement Award
Great hustle, three-point shooting, and efficiency from the line. Hardie is a hard-worker who can ignite his team with hustle and energy.

Josh Coacher | 6’6″ F | Ballard High School, 2022 | 3.5 GPA
Top Rebounder – Advanced-level Math – Honors Student
Josh has great size and athleticism that he uses especially well on defense. His coach sites him as one of the most improved players from last Spring.
Sam Vial | 6’3″ G | Roosevelt High School, 2022 | 3.9 GPA
Described by his coach as a workhorse, Sam Vial has the strength to challenge bigs in the paint and the touch to spread the court with his three-point shooting.
Jake O’Hearn | 6’2″ W | King’s High School, 2022 | 4.0 GPA
State Champion 2020 – Honor Roll
A wing player with ITG range who sees the court well and uses his agility to create shots or get into the paint.

JV Team Captain – Honor Roll Student – High Honors Award
Sam is a competitive athlete on both ends of the court. He uses his energy to challenge his opponents, and he uses his court vision to be a great distributor.
