Jamon Kemp Heads South
2019 Rainier Beach High School grad Jamon Kemp re-classed to 2020 and decided to attend a year of prep school at Woodstock Academy in Connecticut. After a successful year of prep school, Kemp committed to Division 1 Southeastern Louisiana University. SLU finished 12th in the Southland Conference a season ago. SLU is getting a long and explosive wing player with a great midrange game and lockdown defensive potential at the next level.
Mason Christianson Mason Christianson 5'11" | CG Mountlake Terrace | 2020 State WA Announces Commitment
2020 6’0 PG Mason Christianson Mason Christianson 5'11" | CG Mountlake Terrace | 2020 State WA (Mountlake Terrace HS) announced his commitment to Lewis-Clark State College via social media this week. Christianson is a tough defender and rebounder for his size and he is a quality point guard with the ability to score it as well. LC-State is coming off of a 15-5 season and also has the commitment from 6’9 big man Will Abram Will Abram 6'9" | C Arlington | 2020 State WA of Arlington High School.
Mount Si Sends Third Senior to D1 Level
The third member of the 2020 class for 4A State Champion Mount Si is headed to the Division 1 level. 6’9 C Hayden Curtiss Hayden Curtiss 6'9" | C Mt. Si | 2020 State WA picked up an offer from the University of Portland and decided to commit not too long after. Prep Hoops’ Jed Tai has the full story.
Highline College Picks Up Huge Commitment
Every year, there are a handful of gems that find their way in the NWAC and 2020 6’2 CG John Hart John Hart 6'3" | CG Rainier Beach | 2020 State WA of Rainier Beach High School is next up on that list. The explosive combo guard announced via social media that he will be attending Highline College and taking the juco route before moving on to the four year level. Hart, a 3-star prospect, projects to be an instant impact player in the NWAC that could be a real game changer.
Christofilis Reeling In Offers
2020 6’3 SG John Christofilis John Christofilis 6'4" | SG O'Dea | 2021 State #185 Nation WA of O’Dea High School will not be able to suit up for Washington Supreme this Spring due to the shutdown, but that has not stopped schools from extending offers. The sharpshooter recently picked up offers from LMU and WSU adding to his previous offers of GCU, UW, USD and Portland.
