For Skagit Valley, they have signed some phenomenal players who have stood out during their senior season. This is a group that coach Carl Howell and the rest of the coaching staff should be thrilled about.
Damani Green Damani Green 5'10" | PG Wilson | 2020 State WA – Green is a player who has excelled throughout his high school career. Every year, Green continues to get better. The 5-foot-10 guard is an extremely versatile player who does not back down from anyone. The standout guard ended his strong senior campaign as the Pierce County League Player of the Year, earned 1st team all-area honors, and was selected to the all-state team. Green is an exceptional floor leader, who can score at all three levels. A big-time winner who loves to compete.
DJ Clark – The 6-foot-2 wing is a very athletic player who can guard multiple positions. Clark can score the ball efficiently and a great leader. The future Cardinal also gets it done on the defensive end. Although he scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, the lengthy Clark blocked 3 shots per contest to go along with 3 steals. A player who continues to improve.
Lezjuan Harris – The Mount Tahoma High School standout has a big upside. Harris has a great amount of potential that will continue to blossom during his time in the NWAC. The 6-foot-8 wing left his mark during his senior season as one of the top players in the area, garnering 1st team all Piece County League honors. A double-double machine with a high motor, Harris ended with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
Malik Howard – Howard was a key player for a Wilson group who saw a lot of success this season. An outstanding player on both ends of the court, Howard scored 13 points per contest while snatching 8 rebounds to go along with 2 steals. A fearless player, Howard was leaned on a lot to guard the opposing team’s best player and was recognized with the Pierce County League Defensive Player of the Year award while also receiving all-league honors.
Josiah Miller – Another double-double machine that can really get it done on both ends of the court. Miller is a fierce player who plays with a lot of energy. The 6-foot-6 forward has proven on multiple occasions that he is capable of playing against top talent. The senior earned all SPSL honors as he ended his senior season with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Miller is a strong and physical player who is also a great leader.
