Here’s an in-depth look at the top available shooting guards still on the board in Wisconsin…
Logan Jedwabney Logan Jedwabney 6'2" | SG Kaukauna | 2020 State WI – Kaukauna
A top 20 prospect in the state, Jedwabny has gone way under the radar. A deadly shooter who also has the athleticism to slash to the bucket and plays with an edge, Jedwabny averaged 19.4 points per game, leading the Ghosts to the sectional semifinals. Jedwabny shot 45.4 percent from the field and hit 68 triples, shooting 38.6 percent from downtown.
Jedwabny picked up an offer from Minnesota-Crookston on Thursday. They join Northern Michigan on his scholarship list. Bemidji State is also showing interest at this point.
Ben Probst Ben Probst 6'1" | SG Madison LaFollette | 2020 State WI – Madison La Follette
Probst has his list cut down to UW-La Crosse, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Platteville. A gamer who always shows up in big spots, Probst averaged a team-best 15.3 points per game on the 23-1 Lancers, who won the Big Eight Conference and were surging towards a state tournament berth.
Evan Vollendorf Evan Vollendorf 6'3" | SG Stevens Point | 2020 State WI – Stevens Point
As a senior, Vollendorf averaged 18.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Per his AAU program, Vollendorf will not be pursing collegiate basketball opportunities.
Nick Fugiasco Nick Fugiasco 6'3" | SG Racine Case | 2020 State WI – Racine Case
Fugiasco played on a very talented team, which bogged down his numbers. As a senior, he posted 8.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game for Case, who went 21-4, won the Southeast Conference, and was one win away from playing in the state tournament. An athletic two-guard with good size (6-3), Fugiasco shows plenty of flashes of a downhill scorer. He’s also a blue collar player that’s willing to scrap and make hustle plays.
Fugiasco plans to play football at the Divison 3 level in college, barring any unforeseen changes.
