With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2021 Point Guards in Noah Carter Noah Carter 5'9" | PG Bishop Chatard | 2021 State IN , Kaden McCollough Kaden McCollough 5'11" | PG Shenandoah | 2021 State IN , and Naylon Thompson Naylon Thompson 6'5" | PG Bishop Luers | 2021 State IN .

– 5’9 PG 2021 – Bishop Chatard (IN)
Stats: 10.5 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.5 apg, 37% 3pt
Thoughts: Noah is a really small but skilled point guard. He’s decent off the bounce as a shooter and loves to make plays in the mid-range. He is still learning to get his jumper off as a smaller player but when he does, he is pretty good with it. He doesn’t shoot it with too much of a push shot and the form should stick. He has a really good jumper from 10’ fading to his left. If he can get more size and add some strength, his skill and shooting should play up. He’s willing to play tough and get in there, just doesn’t yet have the body to do it all yet.

State

– 5’11 PG 2021 – Shenandoah (IN)
Stats: 12.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 3.5 apg, 2.2 spg, 50% 3pt
Thoughts: Kaden is a small lead guard who hit a ton of big shots. He is a small guard and has a little bit of a push jumper right now, but he’s locked in and looks good with it. He should stay on the ball and creates well on the perimeter at times. I want to see a little more off the bounce in the future as he tends to play more as a perimeter scorer. He might not grow a ton more but he should add some strength in the future.
Naylon Thompson

Bishop Luers | 2021
State
IN
– 6’5 PG 2021 – Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (IN)
Stats: 16.0 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 2.4 apg, 2.5 spg
Thoughts: Naylon is a tall guard who showed a lot more skill and scoring ability than before. He is really good with the ball in his hands, creating jumpers, and getting in the lane a ton. He used ball screens, his a catch-and-shoot three, a pull-up three, very well, and he was the most diverse scorer we saw at this age level all weekend. Also, he proved he can stay on the point as well. He is improving rapidly right now, and he has great potential in the coming season.
