Mi’son Coilton 6’3, Weston Ranch (Stockton CA)
A thick body player that can be effective at the the wings and guard position. His ball handling and physical style of play makes it tough for defenders to prevent him from getting a high percentage shot. He can hit shots from well behind the 3pt line. As a guard he can be effective posting up because of his strength. He needs to improve his mid-range game, and shot selection. He averaged 11.2 ppg, 5.7 rebs, and 3 asts.
Branden Rutherford Branden Rutherford 6'2" | SG Inderkum | 2021 State CA-N 6’3, Inderkum (Sacramento CA)
A strong guard that plays with confidence, he can create his own shot off the bounce, he has a decent mid-range jumper with good lift. He’s steady performer on the court who makes good decisions with the ball. He’ll run the floor in transition and is effective finishing around the rim. When he gets into a rhythm he’s tough to stop. He averaged 14.3 ppg, 3.7 rebs.
Johnathon Schooley-Tyson 6’4, Grant (Sacramento CA)
An energy athlete with plenty of hops and confidence. He’s a big time finisher around and above the rim. He can play through the physical contact. When he develops more of an outside game, his stock will rise. He played half the season, averaged 8.9 ppg, 6.8 rebs.
Miles Keefe Miles Keefe 6'4" | CG Branson | 2021 State CA-N 6’4, Branson (Ross CA)
A high IQ lefty who has a good understanding of the game. He plays with at a good pace, not forcing shots, but looking to aggressively beat his man off the dribble, and get to his sweet spot, a pullup jumper in the paint. He has good shooting form with a high arc. His long wingspan takes up the passing lanes. He needs to get stronger and he’s still growing.
Alijah Washington 6’3, Piedmont Hills (San Jose CA)
His game will continue to rise. As a Freshman and Sophomore, he was a player who could spot up and knock down 3’s with some consistency. Now he’s improved his ball handling skills and is taking it to the basket with authority. He continues to strengthen his body and is playing with confidence. He sets his feet fast and has a quick release on his jumper. He looks forward to taking the big shot at the end in close contests. He led his team in scoring. Picked up CO-MVP and All-League awards in Blossom Valley Athletic League. One to keep an eye on.
Josh Wolf-Bloom Josh Wolf-Bloom 6'4" | SF Bellarmine College Prep | 2021 State CA-N 6’4, Bellarmine (San Jose CA)
A glue guy doing what these guys do. He rebounds, passess, set screens, dives for loose balls, takes charges, keeps the ball live, and fills the lane in transition. An energy player that gets everybody going. Wolf-Bloom doesn’t get enough credit for his good court vision, he’s an excellent passer in the open court. He can get points in the paints. He’ll have to improve his outside shot if he’s going to be any kind of threat from the perimeter.
