1. Latrell Wrightsell Jr Latrell Wrightsell Jr 6'1" | CG Omaha Central | 2020 State NE . – 6’3 CG – #3 Ranked in 2020
Wrightsell can impact the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively he gets to the rim at will and can create contact or finish with creativity. He has deep three point range off the dribble or as a spot up shooter. Defensively he is physical and can guard multiple positions on the perimeter. He averaged 23.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.4 steals per game during his senior season. Wrightsell hasn’t made a college commitment yet, but holds many division one offers.
2. Jay Saunders Jay Saunders 5'11" | CG Omaha South | 2020 State NE – 5’11 CG – #6 Ranked in 2020
Saunders followed up a State Championship in 2019 with another impressive season to finish his career at Omaha South. He is one of the hardest working players in the state and impacts the game in every aspect. In his senior season, Jay stuffed the stat sheet averaging 19.2 points, 3.4 assist, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per game. Saunders will continue his career next season at Wayne State.
3. Jaxson Barber Jaxson Barber 6'3" | PG Lincoln | 2020 State NE – 6’3 PG – #8 Ranked in 2020
Jaxson went from an under the radar prospect averaging 9.2 points per game as a junior, to the second leading scorer in the state, averaging 26.1 points per game during his senior season. He is a lefty shooter that hit over 2 threes per game at 34% his senior season. He will be taking his smooth shooting to Emory University.
4. Connor Creech Connor Creech 6'2" | CG Hastings | 2020 State NE – 6’2 CG – #9 Ranked in 2020
Connor is a left handed playmaker that has excellent court vision and precision on his passes. In transition, he gets downhill and is a threat to finish or find teammates in position to score. In the half court, Creech can pick defenses apart with his command for the offense and three point shooting ability. He will be headed to Western Nebraska Community College.
5. Tyson Gordon Tyson Gordon 6'2" | CG Omaha Skutt | 2020 State NE – 6’2 CG – #13 Ranked in 2020
Gordon finished his high school career by winning Class B state championships in basketball and football for Skutt Catholic. His size and skill at the guard position make him a difficult matchup. He can create shots for himself, navigate ball screens, and score from all three levels. Gordon has committed to playing football at North Dakota State in College.
6. Joey Skoff Joey Skoff 6'2" | CG Bellevue East | 2020 State NE – 6’2 CG – #16 Ranked in 2020
Skoff has a deceptively quick first step and soft touch for everywhere on the court. He blows by defenders with the dribble and can finish at the rim or with pull ups and floaters. Skoff scored 30 or more points 6 times this season including a 42 point performance in January. He averaged 24.9 points, 3.4 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game. He will be playing college basketball at Morningside.
7. Jared Mattley Jared Mattley 6'1" | CG Papillion-LaVista South | 2020 State NE – 6’1 CG – #18 Ranked in 2020
Mattley is a skilled shooter and ball handler that can play either guard position. He has great footwork on the perimeter to create space with jab steps and step backs and can hit difficult shots when he is off balance or contested. He gets teammates involved, plays with high effort defensively, and helps on the glass. Mattley averages 16.4 points, 4.5 assist, and 4.4 rebounds his senior season.
8. PJ Ngambi PJ Ngambi 6'1" | CG Omaha Westside | 2020 State NE – 6’1 CG – #19 Ranked in 2020
Ngambi has a tight handle on the ball and is argueable the fastest player in the class. In transition, there is few players that can get from one end of the floor to the other quicker than PJ. In the half court, the left handed senior can size up defenders and create for himself or find shooters and cutters to drop the ball off to. As a senior, Ngambi averaged 14.8 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game.
9. Kolbe Rada Kolbe Rada 6'1" | CG Lincoln Pius X | 2020 State NE – 6’1 CG – #20 Ranked in 2020
Kolbe is a score first guard that works hard on and off the ball to get himself good looks at the hoop. He is a good shooter that can knock down threes coming off screens or create for himself with the dribble on pull up mid range jumpers. He averaged 16.1 points, 1.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game as a senior.
10. Skyler Wilson Skyler Wilson 6'0" | PG Omaha South | 2020 State NE – 6’0 PG – #23 Ranked in 2020
Wilson is a competitive guard in his final season at Omaha South after transferring prior to his junior year and winning a state championship in 2019. Skyler is a good on ball defender that keeps his matchup in front of him and forces turnovers with defensive pressure. Offensively, he is a floor general who takes care of the ball, finds open teammates, and takes high quality shots. Wilson averages 14.8 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game his senior year and will continue his basketball career at Peru State College.
