Class 1A – Great Falls HS defeated Scott’s Branch HS 73-71 (OT)
The Red Devils picked up the schools 11th State Title and first for Head Coach Alex Fair. The Red Devils last one the state championship in 2012 under Head Coach John Smith. Kelton Talford Kelton Talford 6'7" | SF Great Falls | 2020 State SC who will play at Winthrop University next season finished his career with 25 points and 17 rebounds. Talford went to the foul line 21 times on the day and converted 11 shots. Donnell Adams Donnell Adams 6'0" | CG Great Falls | 2020 State SC (2020) scored 22 points and added 6 steals while Kell Brown chipped in with 12 points.
The Eagles were in scoring by Tariq Coard with 14 points while freshman guard Randy Gibson Randy Gibson 6'1" | PG Scott's Branch | 2023 State SC added 13 points. Isiah Washington added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the defeat.
Class 2A – Gray Collegiate defeated Whale Branch Early College 53-39 War Eagles 3-Peat as Class 2A State Champions
Chase McDuffie Chase McDuffie 6'5" | SG Gray Collegiate | 2021 State SC (2021) finished his season with a game high 20 points while senior guard Tauris Watson Tauris Watson 6'2" | CG Gray Collegiate | 2020 State SC added 11 points. Gray Collegiate (25-6) finished the season on a 15 game winning streak. Latavian Lawrence Latavian Lawrence 6'5" | SF Gray Collegiate | 2020 State SC played his last game of his career while scoring 9 points.
Nick Pringle Nick Pringle 6'8" | PF Whale Branch Early College | 2020 State SC a Wofford signee scored 11 points before fouling out with 5:44 left in the game for the Warriors. Shawn Chisolm (2020) scored 13 points in the game.
Class 3A – Keenan HS defeated Wade Hampton HS 55-32 Raiders Win Back to Back State Championships and 9th in school history
Raiders Head Coach Zach Norris won his 7th State Championship this past weekend in his 21 years at the school. Raekwon Horton Raekwon Horton 6'6" | SF Keenan | 2020 State #419 Nation SC (2020) the Class 3A State Player of the Year finished the game with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Jazian Gortman Jazian Gortman 6'2" | PG Keenan | 2022 SC (2021) finished the night with 13 points while William Daney (2021) stepped up big with 13 points also in the win. The Raiders finished the season at (25-6) after starting (5-6). The Raiders won their 20 games to finish out the year.
Brandon Brantley Brandon Brantley 6'4" | SF Wade Hampton | 2021 State SC (2021) finished with 20 points for the Red Devils in the defeat. Samuel Gray Samuel Gray 6'2" | PG Wade Hampton (Hampton) | 2020 State SC (2020) finished his career with 9 points.
