Nevada Stat Leaders 2019-20
The 2019-2020 season is officially over. It was a season full of excitement thanks to the dynamic players on both sides of the ball. Many players will be back next season. Until then, we have to appreciate what we saw on the floor this year, especially from these guys. Here are the stat leaders for the state of Nevada.
POINTS: Ethan Speaker Ethan Speaker 6'6" | SF Boulder City | 2021 State NV 6’6 SF Boulder City 2021 (#7PHN 2021) 25.6ppg – Speaker was a dynamic scorer all season. He can hurt you inside and outside, evidence by his 30 made 3’s on the year. The exciting part for Speaker is that he has a ton of room to improve his scoring average. He made 195 free throws last season despite shooting only 68% from the line.
2. Mike Klekas 6’3 SF Elko 2022 (#10PHN 2022) 24.1ppg
REBOUNDS: Seth Bozzi 6’5 PF Mineral County 2020 12.9rpg (featured image) – Bozzi’s boarding helped Mineral County to their second straight title. Bozzi is also the starting QB for the football team. The two-sport athlete overwhelmed opponents with his size, length, and his quick jump ability. He was dominant on the glass all season, with 19 games of 10 rebounds or more.

5’10 PG Bishop Manogue 2021 (#25PHN 2021) 6.8apg – Ballinger is the consummate floor general. He’ll protect the ball for you, and won’t hurt his squad with his decision making. The setup artist can create for his teammates off set plays, in transition, and off improvised situations. The state’s leading assist man had a game-high of 14 earlier this season against Damonte Ranch.
2. Nathan Rodriguez 6’3 SG Needles 2020 6.3apg –
STEALS: Collin Killoran 5’7 PG GV Christian 2020 6.1spg – The 5’7 Killoran is an absolute pickpocket. Good lateral movement and extremely quick hands, Killoran is good at swiping on ball and playing the passing lanes. He dominated the game from the defensive side of the ball, having 15 games with 5 steals or more this season.
2. Zeus Inguanzo 6’2 SG Calvary Chapel Academy 2021 5.7spg –
BLOCKS: Brady Joiner Brady Joiner 6'5" | PF Shadow Ridge | 2020 State NV 6’5 C Shadow Ridge 2020 (#55PHN 2020) 4.4bpg – Joyner plays the game with boundless energy. A good run and jump athlete, Joyner is the perfect rim protector because of his quick second jump. He challenges everything and is willing to rotate and help weakside. One of the top baseball players in the state, he showed just how dominating he can be averaging over 7 blocks per game during a 5 game stretch.
