James Anderson Recruiting Update
Many chefs deserve credit for remarkable 28 wins already amassed by Madison Academic, though James Anderson stands within ladle distance at all times.
At 6-foot-2, Anderson plays the role of creator.
In the first half of his senior season, James Anderson put together an enticing visual resume.
Anderson played his final 2 AAU seasons with West Tennessee AAU power Patriot Elite (@GodCalledMe79). Other notable Team Patriot Elite players with college bball aspirations are: Lazarick Hill, John Odom, Richard Gill, Jalen Bond.
Junior College is a challenging level of basketball that can be cutthroat. Imagine unfamiliar lions simultaneously roaring for their right to the largest meal. The environment of JuCo tends to cultivate unending power struggles and even selfish basketball.
There is a place for a versatile scorer of Anderson’s talents in the JuCo ranks.
“I have reached out to some jucos that have shown some interest,” said Anderson.
Will he be dressing in a junior college jersey in fall 2020? His options are growing fastest from junior college recruiters. Still, Anderson is likely to gain an offer from outside this unique bball world.
Bethel reached out to James Anderson earlier this winter. The NAIA school is built largely by Tennessee and Arkansas prospects. Most of the Tennessee players grew up and matured into stars in the western third of the state.
Bethel (TN) provides an opportunity for advanced high school players to continue playing. There are advantages and disadvantages to the NAIA level. Picking NAIA can be tricky if only because many signed recruits wind up as JV players, a far cry from the ideal college basketball experience most envision.
