Cape Fear Freshman Guard Treymayne Parker has 5 Star Potential! There is no question about it, he has the chance to be a player that HM programs will be coming in to see in a few years. His athleticism is what catches your attention but he has a natural feel for the game to make plays on both ends of the floor. Led his team in scoring with 22 points and finished with the assist of the night at the end of the game with a lob to a teammate.
East Wake Junior Forward Jayvon Mercer is a beast! He’s a double/double type of player on a consistent basis due to his ability to score and rebound. Constantly working inside the paint as well as extending his game to be productive offensively he led all scorers with 23 points and double digit rebounds.
Cape Fear HS Guard Marquail James is a JC Prospect! JUCO programs in the area will want to give him a call ASAP as he will need to take that route. He’s athletic and is a dangerous player when he is attacking with a head of steam.
Cape Fear HS Sophomore RJ McDonald has upside! We love what he brings to the table with his ability to score and rebound. He’s only scratching the surface of how good he can potentially be and will be one to kee a close eye on.
East Wake Junior Guard Jeremiah Crudup was early offense!! As soon as the game began he caught fire and helped his team get out to a lead. He knocked down three early treys but would take on more of a facilitator role as the game went on.
Cape Fear HS Sophomore Guard Masaun Bryant was a spark for Cape Fear! Stepping in and providing some much needed offense and was just what the team needed. His ability to shoot the ball from deep as well as get into the paint for floaters are what make him a solid player.
