Life Christian Academy 69 Covenant 51
Eastern Mennonite 64 Carmel School 62
2022 6’2 Jonas Sanker | Covenant
Word is that Jonas is an outstanding football recruit but Friday he was tremendous on the hardwood. Sanker was the lone bright spot for Covenant as he was scoring the ball at all three levels doing whatever he could to keep Covenant in the game as he scored 24 points. Sanker is a strong guard that can get it going in bunches.
2021 6’4 Ikechi Chantilou | Life Christian
Chantilou got it going early for Life Christian and led them in scoring finishing with a total of 18 points. He is an athletic guard that has tremendous athleticism and excels at attacking the rim but also showed that he can score at all three levels. Life Christian defended Covenant hard all game long and Chantilou was part of that where he finished with a game high 8 steals.
2021 6’3 Kenard Richardson | Life Christian
Richardson has a great motor to go with high intensity. He attacks the rim hard but can also hit shots from different areas on the court. For his size and position he rebounds well and overall has a complete game. In Life Christian’s win he finished with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
2020 6’8 Elijah Rove | The Carmel School
Rove has great size and is a strong body that can do a lot around the rim. He finished with 13 points and hauled in 14 rebounds. He also has good mobility which allows him to move well. Defensively he was able to alter some shots against EM’s bigger players.
2020 6’4 Aviwe Mahlong | Eastern Mennonite
The Millersville commit hit the game winning free throws with under 3 seconds left for Eastern Mennonite and was the leading scorer for them after tallying 21 points. He also grabbed 7 rebounds. With his size, he scores well in the post but also showed he can hit a jump shot. He is a guy that you can put at multiple positions and he will do what his coach asks from him.
