While it may be the conclusion of the regular season, it’s not the end of the postseason. For the first time, in state history, several of Nevada’s top seniors will be on the floor together as participants in the Ball Dawgs All-Star Game. The event, the brainchild of Ball Dawgs CEO Neal Carter, includes a 3 point shootout and a dunk contest. The evening concludes with the Senior Showcase Game, featuring 25 of the top players in the state, and two fan favorites. The fan favorites were selected in two separate twitter polls, the 2nd featuring the four finalists for the Prep Hoops High Academic Awards, you can vote for your choice here. Ball Dawgs is one of the premier sports video companies in Las Vegas and has made its name by capturing players at their finest moments. In this article, PH takes a look at some of the sharpshooters participating in the Ball Dawgs All-Star 3 Point Shootout
Noah Do 6’2 SG Arbor View (#71) – Good clutch shooter. Do has a quick and consistent release. He shot 33% from behind the arc this year.
Anthony Hunter 5’11 PG Durango (#6) – Hunter is going to try his hand in the contest. Known more as a driver, slasher. I’m excited to see how he performs in this format.
Donavan Yap 6’3 SG Arbor View (#4) – Yap has the kind of smooth stroke that could take home the trophy. He’s got NBA range so the H.S line won’t phase him at all. Big-time shooter that had over 40 made 3’s this season.
Isaiah James 6’4 SG Basic (#68) – “Baby KD” is definitely a sleeper for this one. He has a smooth stroke and finishes with a high release point. Big strong shooter, he made 42 threes on the season.
Nicholas Attanasio 6’2 SG Faith Lutheran (#54) – Attanasio is a great in-game lefty shooter. If he makes his first one watch out. When he has it going Attanasio can knock down several 3’s in a row. Attanasio quietly lead the Crusaders in scoring while making over 80 trey’s on the year.
Larry Holmes 6’2 SG Arbor View (#11) – Arbor View is well represented in this contest. Holmes is a deadly 3 point shooter, that shoots it a good clip. He lead the Aggies in 3’s made this year while shooting nearly 40%.
Tommy Anderson 6’0 PG Mojave (#46) – Anderson is built for a contest like this. A physical frame with a compact stroke, he should do well under this format.
Amari James 6’3 SG Spring Valley (#21) (featured image) – James is one of the favorites. He can put together makes in a hurry, and he has a confident stroke with consistent form.
