Continue ReadingIt’s that time of the year when the best of the state are still playing. The level of play goes up especially with the teams that are left here. Not too many surprises. Here are some players to keep an eye on that could make the difference for their team.
Skyridge
Trevon Snoody– Non-Stop motor and huge game type player.
Duncan Reid– Can shoot the lights out from deep and mid-range.
Braden Housely– Get’s to the rim with ease and can shoot the deep ball as well.
Lone Peak
Corbin Zetner– One of the best undersized PG’s in the state. He has a great motor and feel for the game. Can score from everywhere. He is putting up 15 points a game.
Cameron Brimhall– At 6’8 one of the best underrated players in the state. He blocks shots and runs the floor. He plays hard and discipline basketball.
Josh Jackson– At 6’5 he is a problem because he can hit that outside shot but also bully down low.
Westlake
Hunter Phillips– A really good junior big that could be a difference maker.
Noah McCord– Noah is a high energy player that does a little bit of everything.
Davis
Jake Sampson– This kid can shoot the ball. Has been consistent his entire career.
Trevan Leondhardt– Trevan has turned into one of the best all-around players on both ends. He will be tough to deal with.
West Jordan
Logan Prince– As a 6’3 sophomore Logan has a shot at a bright future.
Fremont
Dallin Hall– Best unsigned prospect in the state.
Baylor Harrop– Baylor is electric as he is part of the best back-court in the state.
Pleasant Grove
Kael Mickelsen– This kid is tough as nails. Is one of those season veterans on the PG squad.
Isaac Vaha– The big bodied athlete that will be tough to defend.
Layton
Tanner Kofoed– Tanner has hit 42 three pointers. He could go off at anytime.
Ethan Potter- Ethan is putting up in impressive 22 points again. He has turned into a nice D1 prospect.
