Quinten Mason, 5’11, G, 2021, Olathe North
A KC Blue Chips standout performer over the summer who plays great full court defense. Mason is an active guard who keeps his hands up and stays with the ball. He has good vision and can spot schemes and jump passing lanes and forced turnovers and kick-off fast-break opportunities for his team. Mason can also connect as a shooter and show some creative play in transition and around the basket.
Zach Nelson, 5’11, G, 2020, Shawnee Mission North
A strong guard for SMN who can find his shot from 3-point range and get to the basket and distribute the ball in transition. Nelson is a confident guard who has a strong IQ and understands floor spacing and how his team can put themselves in a position to win, regardless of the outcome. He’s an unselfish player and has good vision and looks to pass and move the ball when he doesn’t have an open look.
Ethan Reynolds, 5’9, G, 2021, Gardner-Edgerton
He connects well from 3-point range and has a quick and high release that can be difficult to get a hand on for a player his size. Reynolds plays strong team ball and looks to connect quickly from a distance. He’s an unselfish player and shows good movement and has strong upper body strength as well.
Logan Skeens, 6’0, G, 2020, Shawnee Mission Northwest
A Primetime Ballerz standout over the summer who makes a strong impact wherever he is on the floor. Skeens is a smart guard who has good handles and the ability to knock down shots several feet beyond the arc. Skeens has good size and length and can take his time or shoot quickly after the catch. He shoots a high percentage shot from the floor and is a good defensive player and is smart and puts his body on the line for the sake of the play.
Olin Yoder, 6’1, G, 2020, Free State
A defensive guard who can play physical and also connect from 3-point range. Yoder is an unselfish player who looks to move the ball and play off the ball. Yoder looks to contribute on both ends and can block shots, rebound and come down with the ball in contact situations. He can also score some inside the perimeter and can slash inside and get to the free throw line.
