Wyatt Carmichael, 6’4, F, 2020, Haven
A Grind Elite summer standout who has a strong frame in the ability to make plays at the rim. Carmichael is an unselfish player who looks to force turnovers and get easy baskets around the rim. He has a strong frame and the ability to show up on both ends of the floor. He is a clean up player who stays active around the glass through contact. Carmichael is underrated passer, a solid rebounder and a good 3-point shooter when he has the open look.
Dreylin Kemp, SF, 2022, Wichita East
Camp is a smart player who can play off the ball both inside and out. He shows great movement and is good at getting back on defense and running the Lanes on offense looking for an open shot near the basket. He’s also an extremely athletic player who has great hops and good length and the ability to pin the ball on the glass. A nice athlete to keep your eyes on.
Isaac Ray, 6’5, F, 2021, Derby
Anice two-way player who can connect from distance and make some plays happen close to the basket. He has good size and can. He has a good feel for play inside as a defender and can track down plays and contest and even block shots. Ray has a good eye for plays and can see opportunities in hit shots from the mid-range area as well. An impressive player for Derby who can fill out a stat sheet one night and be the ultimate team player who is helping his teammates score the next.
Demontre Stewart, F, 2020, Wichita Northwest
A nice forward option who makes good decisions on the block. He runs hard and takes good chances as a rebounder on both the offensive and defensive boards. Stewart is a player for Northwest who can contribute a lot without having to score a lot of points. He’s averaging 6.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. He’s shooting 56 percent from the field.
Deandre Wilson, 6’2, G, 2021, Wichita Northwest
Another gamer for Northwest who has the ability to play several positions well. He has good size for a guard and can sometimes play defense on the high and low post. He is a capable rebounder and has the game that can easily fit into several offensive game-plans. He can score on the move, through transition and can play a stop-and-pop or catch-and-shoot role. Wilson is averaging 11 points per game and one assist, 3.2 rebounds, and one steal. Wilson has the ability to have big games as a lead scoring option.
