Patrick Cassidy, 6’0, G, 2020, Columbus
A solid scoring guard who can score from the 3-point line, inside the paint and in the mid-range area. Cassidy is a talented player who has good handles and the ability to catch-and-shoot and create his own shot, sometimes several feet behind the 3-point line. He is a good defensive player as well and has good size and strength. Cassidy is averaging 27 points, two assists, 3.2 rebounds and close to two steals per game. He’s shooting 53 percent from the field and 38 percent from the 3-point line and 85 percent from the free throw line, hitting 33-39.
Tuck Lang, 5’9, G, 2020, Minneola
A senior standout, Lang is a combo guard who can operate as a scoring option and primary ball handler. He moves well off the ball and has the ability to catch-and-shoot but is a good shot creator with the ball in his hands. Despite his size, Lang is also a solid rebounder who plays physical and overpowers opponents. He’s currently averaging 26.2 points, 2.8 assists, 6.8 rebounds and four steals per game. Lang is shooting 51 percent from the field and 39 percent from 3-point range and 67 percent from the free throw line.
Timothy Gillen, 5’10, G, 2020, Ingalls
The second standout performer from Ingalls who is showing a high level of activity on both ends of the floor. Gillen is a strong guard prospect who uses his speed, creativity and overall experience to his advantage. He’s second in scoring for Ingalls and is currently averaging 16.8 points, 2.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 steals per game. Gillen is a confident player and he is a strong scorer inside the perimeter as he is hitting 74 percent from the field. He is also good at getting to the free throw line and does so well, hitting 89 percent.
Brayden Sadler, 6’1, G, 2020, Udall
a smart guard who understands his role in how to put himself in a position to score. Sadler runs off screens well and can create with his dribble and score off the dribble and quickly. He is a strong rebounder and a good defensive mind, someone who can force a turnover and finish on the opposite end. Through seven games Sadler is averaging 27.4 points per game and adds 3.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals. He’s shooting 59 percent from the field, 42 percent from 3-point range and 78 percent from the free throw line.
Trevor Whiteman, 6’2, G/F, 2020, Udall
Whiteman is a hustle player who can rebound well and score when he has an open look. He’s an unselfish player and looks to distribute the ball and make extra passes but has the ability to make a play and either get to the free-throw line or score for himself. He’s averaging 10.4 points, 3.1 assists, 4.7 rebounds and two steals per game. He’s also a solid shot blocker and is shooting 61 percent from the field, 56 percent from 3-point range and is starting to hit his stride from the free throw line.
