Silver Creek Beats New Albany
The Dragons were able to beat their second straight 4A team tonight with getting the win over New Albany 69-64. 2021 PF Trey Kaufman led Silver Creek in scoring tonight with 20 points and also adding 7 rebounds as well. His teammates, Branden Northern and Holden Groher, each added 16 points. The Dragons will travel to Providence on Tuesday.
Lawrence North suffers first loss of season
Lawrence North is undefeated no more as they suffered their first loss of the season to North Central, 69-59. This is a huge statement win for 2nd-year head coach Brian Hahn as his team has been pretty average this year so far. Lawrence North has been nearly unstoppable this year and them getting upset is arguably the most shocking thing of the high school season so far. Tony Perkins and the Wildcats will drop to 14-1 while Charlie Peterson and the Panthers improve to 6-6.
Brownsburg’s Connor Lucas goes 9-18 form 3s
Borwnsburg was able to beat Westfield 65-50 behind Connor Lucas‘s 31 points. Lucas went 9-13 from behind the arc and dropped 22 of those points in the fourth quarter. His teammate Pierce Thomas also added 13 points as well. The Bulldogs move to 13-1 and will face Carmel tomorrow night.
