Ray Surratt, Lafayette – The biggest member of the Senior class, Ray knows how to use his size to establish post position and is a tough cover on the low block. If anything, Surratt falls in love with jump shots too often. He can stretch the floor with shooting and is a really good rebounder. His lack of recruitment is baffling at this point.
Treshawn Cody Treshawn Cody 6'3" | PF Lloyd Memorial | 2020 State KY , Lloyd Memorial – Cody is one of the most athletic players in this class and possibly the most athletic. He’s long but he’s physical enough to play inside but has made threes every time I’ve seen him play. With his abilities, he could transition to the wing and be a terror for a team that presses a lot on defense.
Jaylan Green Jaylan Green 5'11" | PG Frederick Douglass | 2020 State KY , Frederick Douglass – Green transferred from Henry Clay to Douglass after only one game in his Junior year. It looked like a rash decision at the time but it has paid off for both Jaylan and Frederick Douglass this season. Green is averaging 15 points per game and thriving in the up and down system that coach Kurt Young employs.
Rodrell Dryden Rodrell Dryden 6'5" | PF Greenup County | 2020 State KY , Greenup County – Rodrell has taken the road less traveled in the last 9 months as he transferred from Dunbar to Woodford County in May then from Woodford to Greenup in September. He’s having a big Senior season, averaging 20 points and 17 rebounds per game and recently received an offer to a Junior College.
Jaylen Barber Jaylen Barber 6'8" | C Great Crossing | 2020 State KY , Great Crossing – Another big man finds his way on to this list. Jaylen is built like a college player already with a big frame. He can elevate and finish and blocks lots of shots. Barber struggles with foul trouble frequently but when he is on the floor, he’s a difference maker for the Warhawks and should have chances to play at the next level.
Warner Bryan Warner Bryan 6'8" | C Larue County | 2020 State KY , LaRue County – Bryan missed most of the last two years with various injuries but when he’s been on the floor, he’s averaged almost a double-double at just shy of 15 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. If he can be healthy when unsigned senior camps roll around, Warner could be the type of player to draw a lot of interest from colleges.
Tyler Camplin Tyler Camplin 6'0" | PG Webster County | 2020 State KY , Webster County – Small schools in Western Kentucky don’t get a lot of love but Camplin deserves some recognition for getting the Trojans off to such a great start this season. Averaging 17 points per game and leading his team to a 16-2 start is impressive and he stock should keep trending up.
Rabby Kamona Rabby Kamona 6'8" | C Dunbar | 2020 State KY , Dunbar – If you’re looking for players who pass the eye test and could be difference makers in the next month or so, Kamona is definitely both of those things. At 6’8 and athletic, Rabby can dunk the ball any way you want it in warmups but once the game starts, he tends to look a little lost on defense. He does rebound well and with two hands. The potential is there for Kamona to be a difference maker.
