The Unranked- PT.1

<p>Prep Hoops takes a look into these unranked athletes in the Jackson Area looking to make a name for themselves this upcoming season. Will they still be unranked by time PT.2 comes out? let's watch and see what impact they make at the start of the season!</p> <p><strong>Trae Ruggles/ 6’5″ Sr. / Grass Lake</strong></p> <p><strong>Ruggles</strong> is in his senior season at Grass Lake and has been a bright spot for the <strong>Warriors</strong>. the 6'5 guard has been Blessed with a high level of athleticism, <strong>Ruggles</strong> is a player that can finish plays above the rim consistently, can also knock down the deep jump-shot. <strong>Ruggles</strong> gets a lot of his points on his ability to slash to the basket, a matchup nightmare keep an eye out for Trae as his senior season is set to begin.</p> <p><strong>Kamerin Carter/5’8" So./ Jackson</strong></p> <p><strong>Carter</strong> is an athletic guard that can attack the basket at will, the 5'8 guard has a nice feel for the game he is able to score from the perimeter while utilizing his quickness and finesse to score around the bigger defenders. The Alabama transfer plans to come in and make an immediate impact to lead the<strong> Vikings</strong> to new heights this season.</p> <p><strong>Daivion Lindeman/6’4" Sr./ Jackson</strong></p> <p><strong>Lindeman</strong> is an amazing athlete, He has an impressive vertical and uses it for great lift and separation on mid-range jump shots. He’s automatic inside the 3 point line. The 6'4 wing can also step outside the 3 point line and knock it down with consistency. <strong>Lindeman</strong> is a bit of tweener on the wing as he continues to work on his ball-handling.</p> <p><strong>Damarion Samuels/6’5" Sr./ Jackson</strong></p> <p><strong>Samuels</strong> can dominate the glass on both ends of the floor, at 6’5″ <strong>Samuels</strong> gets up and down the court very well, he has the ability to play some stretch-four at the college level. He is able to knock down shots from behind the arc and can take it to the rack and has the ability to throw it down on anyone in his way, <strong>Samuels</strong> will be a key factor in the <strong>Vikings</strong> success this season.</p>
