Pinecrest HS Junior Guard Bradlee Haskell has picked up some D1 interest over the last year and it wont take a long time of watching him to see why. He does plenty of the things that you want from your starting PG, understanding how to run a team by getting everybody involved as well as picking his spots to attack defenders.
Northwest Guilford Senior Guard Christian Hampton: If you haven’t seen him play yet, you’re in for a treat as this young man is the real deal. His athletic ability is what will catch your attention almost right away but he has plenty of substance to his game as he has a nice overall IQ for the game. Schools at the LM level have shown interest and offered so it will be interesting to see how things play out for him recruitment wise.
Montgomery Senior PF QJ Drake is puting up double/double type numbers for his team as he’s averaging just under 17 points and 10 rebounds a night. The interior presence that he brings could cause some problems for Pinecrest if the pace of the game is slowed down.
With his recruitment out the way, Holly Springs Senior Kaleb Scott doesn’t have to worry about going through all the recruitment process stress anymore and can simply focus in on the season. Scott understands how to use his upper body strength and athletic ability to make plays on both ends of the floor, which is one of the reasons we feel he will have success at Georgia State.
Montgomery Senior Wing Keyshon Ingram is another player that the team will look to for contributions as he is coming of a 24 point, 10 rebound performance in their recent loss to Anson. For the season he’s at about 15 PPG so clearly he is a player that can contribute to the team due to his ability to score the ball.
Pinecrest Senior Wing Dillion Drennan: Whenever he’s on the court, he’s a serious threat from three point range as he can really fill it up once he gets it going. It doesn’t take much time for him to set his feet and get his shot off so don’t be surprised to see him go off for a big time shooting day.
