With the combination of teams with college signees and teams with under the radar prospects , we got the opportunity to see plenty of players that are worthy of being recruited.
Southern Durham Senior Guard Ricky Council IV: One of the top performers of the day, you can see why so many D1 programs have offered him already. He has the athletic ability that you see from a D1 player and showed his ability to knock down shots from three point land as well.
SE Raleigh 2020 Guard Daniel Greene: Was one of the better scorers for his team throughout the day. He found the proper angles to attack defenders which allowed him to get to the basket for buckets at a nice rate.
East Chapel Hill 2021 Forward Will Tyndall: Very impressive performance from this young man, he plays with toughness that you love to see. Rebounding and scoring is what he does best, finishing with 17 points and 17 rebounds in their first round matchup.
Overhills HS 2020 Guard Jase Ford: He’s playing the 6th man role for his team but has seemed to be embrace it. Scoring the ball is something that he does very well, he knocked down the trey ball at a high rate as well as getting to the bucket well.
Green Level HS Sophomore Guard Trey Boyd: He was the offense that his team needed as they were able to hang tough in the first half of their first round matchup. He’s young and has a lot of responsibility for a team that is young, but we love his upside and potential. Once you combine his silky smooth shooting stroke to go along with his natural feel for the game and overall IQ, he’s a player that you have to be excited about.
Lee County HS Senior G/F Jarrian Hancock: Another prospect that is starting to pick up some buzz to his name, he is a versatile player that can play the PG-PF positions. He rebounded and scored the ball well but also found teammates for good passes which led to easy buckets.
