I saw some exciting prospects and look forward to giving you my evaluations each and every Sunday throughout the season. It is time to recap this week and look at what our exciting 2020 prospects did.
Bedford North Lawrence:
Brayton Bailey – 2020 PG/SG: Bailey is still playing really well in his senior season. He keeps doing the things he is good at like driving, finishing, and knocking down mid-range jumpers. He had one of his best games on Friday dropping 36 points against Milan. This prospect can get buckets.
Bloomington North:
Tim Brewster – 6’3 2020 SG: Brewster is one the more smooth guards I have seen play. Really good a splitting double teams on his way to the rim. Has a lot of bounce to his game and uses it really well. Can jump out of the gym.
Jeremiah Blair – 6’5 2020 PF: Blair is a big that is strong and physical. Had two blocks against his matchup on the night. His strength is in his upper body and needs to work on his lateral movements a little bit. Love the way this power forward plays however.
Scottsburg:
Nick Sebastiao – 6’3 2020 SF: This SF can be real powerful and explosive at times. There were some instances where he was a little out of control with the ball and did not protect it as well. Had a great block that lead to a couple of points on the other end. Would like to see him do a little bit more scoring.
Evansville Harrison:
Mason Bost – 6’2 2020 SG: Not much to say other than this senior is lights out behind arc. He racked up 24 points against Bedford North Lawrence. It did not matter if he had a hand in his face or was wide open, he was money with his shooting. Add in his nice floater, 2 rebounds, a baseline drive, this senior can ball.
University:
Joseph Martin – 6’1 2020 PG: The Wittenberg commit played really well when I saw him. Made some good passes to his teammates that lead to points. He is just a really solid point guard who makes few mistakes. Really good jumper and is playing great this season.
Max Greenamoyer – 6’1 2020 SG: This senior is a sniper from behind the arc. He can hit dagger after dagger if the defense leaves him open. Looks like a pretty strong shooter too even if he is on the shorter end. He is a big part of University’s offense.
Fishers:
Isaac Farah – 6’8 2020 C: Farah is such a smart big. Really nice moves down low that often leads to a bucket. He is a really aggressive rebounder as well. Challenge him to demand the ball a little bit more because he most of the time has the size advantage in his matchup. This lengthy big is as solid as they come.
New Palestine:
Max Gizzi – 6’0 2020 PG: Gizzi is a tough-minded point guard. He does not really shoot the ball as it looks like he would rather drive to the basket. Had a couple of explosive left-handed layups that showed of his aggressiveness. This senior plays hard.
Dawson Eastes – 6’5 2020 PF:: Eastes is big bodied PF that likes to shoot outside a lot. Had a nice sequence of when he missed a 3-pointer and chased down his miss for a putback. Add in a few other rebounds and baskets, he ended up with 7 points on the day.
Eric Roudebush – 6’4 2020 SF: This strong SF was the leading scorer (20 points) for New Palestine when they went up against Bloomington North. He has a strong looking frame and I would say he is bigger than the average SF. He gets most of his points in the paint. Very strong prospect.
