Plays big:
Ribakare certainly is not small (Maxpreps has him listed at 6’6″) but he played even above his size here. He mashed in the paint on both ends well, using skill and positioning to battle even guys bigger and longer than him.
Tough screens:
This was mentioned in the observations from the game, but he set a bunch of tremendous screens. Those are incredibly important in the offensive scheme, and not many players seem to be as willing as him to make that kind of effort that does not get noticed on the scoreboard or stat sheet.
Great off the bench:
Everybody wants to start. It’s a given. And, though difficult at points, he came off the bench and made an immediate impact in the minutes he played, playing his role that the Broncos needed him too very well. It was cool to see.
Nice little short-range J:
He cleared space with his footwork, and usually found himself open for what looked like a hybrid jumper / post-move shot near the basket that went in a few times in this game.
