Franklin was another outstanding sharpshooter for Orange High School and he wasn’t afraid to get to the rim and finish in traffic either. They’ve got a nice mix of youth and experience for the 2019-20 season with Franklin in their backcourt as a junior.
Jerec Thompson – Orange – Guard
Thompson is another solid shooter that spaces the floor well and makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands. He’s only a sophomore but he’s already showing he belongs on the floor with his play.
Machai Holt – Orange – Forward
Holt is a nice-sized forward at 6-foot-2 gets to his spots on the floor in the post and defends the paint with solid awareness. He isn’t the tallest player but he makes up for it with his solid frame. He’ll be a solid senior piece for them this season.
Kenny Noland – Apex Friendship – Guard
Noland is a player due for quite a productive season if he continues to play like he did at the jamboree. He does well to space the floor and get open for shots, especially in the corner for 3’s. He’s also quick to get out on the fastbreak and finish before the defense knows what hit them.
Nick Farrar – Apex Friendship – Forward
Farrar was dominant in the jamboree, especially in the paint, working for position and finishing at the rim when needed. He’s slowly working into top-notch shape for the season and as he does, he’ll be a prospect to keep an eye on before heading off to NC State.
Jeremiah Baker – Apex Friendship – Guard
Baker is a combo guard that’s literally just scratching the surface with his abilities. He can score it from all three levels and is quite an underrated leaper despite his size at 5-foot-10. When he’s driving downhill, look out or he could put you on a poster.
