Season Preview: Dudley High School

<p>The Dudley Panthers should field a solid group after going 16-12 in 2018-19. Here's an early look at some players to keep an eye on for the 2019-20 season.</p> <h4>Prospects to Watch</h4> <h5>Jeremiah Dickerson - Guard/Wing</h5> <p>Dickerson was an active force in the paint for the Panthers all weekend at the HoopCities Invitational. He's a prospect that's racking up DII and DIII offers on the recruiting trail by the day. He uses his 6-foot-4 frame well to battle in the paint and create at the rim.</p> <h5>Darien Wynn - Guard</h5> <p>Wynn is a combo guard that's solid making things happen with the ball in his hands. He can knock down the 3-ball and finishes tough in traffic for a player of his caliber. He's another senior to watch in this rotation. </p> <h5>Coleman Wood - Forward/Wing</h5> <p>Wood is a 6-foot-5 wing player with potential as a rim protector. He flies around on defense blocking shots, using his length well and is also quite the passer on the perimeter.</p> <h5>Franklin Stockton - Wing/Guard</h5> <p>Stockton is a junior prospect with versatility on the wing. He's got the ability to make plays on the wing and gets to the rim well. He'll be a player to keep an eye on off the bench. </p> <h5>Dejour Miller - Forward</h5> <p>Miller is another player in the Dudley frontcourt to keep an eye on. He has the ability to battle in the paint for rebounds and isn't shy about defending in the paint, either.</p> <h4>Key Dates</h4> <h5>11/26 - Hillside</h5> <p>The Hillside Hornets went 28-2 this past season and return as a member of a new conference in the Triangle 8. They'll be an early challenge for the Dudley Panthers before starting conference play.</p> <h5>12/17 - High Point Central</h5> <p>The Panthers fell this past season by a point to open the 2018-19 season. With a rematch looming on Dec. 17, Dudley will look for a different result this go around.</p> <h5>12/26-28 - Haeco Invitational</h5> <p>Dudley returns to the Haeco Invitational after falling to Ragsdale in the fifth-place game in the 2018 event. </p>
