Jaden Davis Recruiting Update
Jaden Davis electrified the PrepHoopsTN Fall Combine with an elegance, a composure. In addition to his stunning vertical, Davis played with poise and patience. He made his teammates better.
Now college coaches are reaching out to figure out if he fits into their future plans.
What is new?
“Not much, just getting new looks,” said Jaden Davis.
Both Johnson University and Bryan College are expressing interest in the Dickson High School star. Though he doesn’t have a deep knowledge of either Davis finds himself open and willing to listen to both.
“As of right now, I haven’t really been able to see the (Johnson University) campus, but I really have a good feel for the coach,” shared Jaden Davis Saturday evening. “He’s a really cool guy but I can’t wait to go check out their campus and how their program is.”

Jaden intended to visit Johnson University this weekend, but had to reschedule because of a simple conflict. Expect that visit to take place very soon.
Both Davis’ wingspan and vertical leap stood out as remarkable. Though he weighs around 220 pounds, Davis jumped 34″ off the ground. Though he stands 6-foot-1, his spreads his wings to 6-foot-7. The average NBA draft pool player wingspan according to DraftExpress.com, going back two decades, +4. More clearly put, Davis boasts a more foreboding wingspan than the average NBA prospect.
Judging by his demeanor, discipline, skills, and shortcomings, Jaden Davis is a surefire NAIA juggernaut. There are likely to be a handful more colleges get involved in the coming months. Davis is excited to learn about more schools and meet new coaches.
