All teams in conference will be in search of new players to step up and become the next stars of their program.
Daron Pierre (2020) | 6’1 PG | Hightstown
Hightstown might have the most well rounded player in the conference in Pierre. At 6’1, he is an exceptional rebounder and defender. He averaged over two steals per game as a junior along with being a dynamic scorer on the offensive end. Pierre possess quickness that allows him to get into the lane and draw fouls to get to the line. His skill set will only grow and mature as he prepares to enter his senior season.
Kareem Hemsley (2020) | 6’3 SG | Lawrence
Hemsley took the next step for Lawrence last season as a junior. As a sophomore, Hemsley was a starter who averaged nine points per game but was inconsistent. That changed last season as he developed his game and became a player who can score in multiple ways especially in the lane. Hemsley’s game will only continue to develop in his third season as a starter.
Jaylen Britton (2020) | 6’1 PG | Ewing
At 6’1, Britton possess skills on the defensive end that are extremely rare. He is a guard who can lock down any ball handler on the perimeter but is also comfortable switching down to cover the big men. A guard who can cover all five positions is valuable. Britton has adapted his game to be multifaceted. Ewing unleashed a hidden gem last season and it will continue to shine in 2019-2020. Britton will be Ewing’s top option when the regular season begins.
Krishi Dattani (2020) | 6’0 SG | West Windsor South
Dattani displayed his ability to shoot from deep last season as a junior. He has in the gym range and can change a game by knocking down shots from anywhere. West Windsor South will look to ride his hot hand this season. Dattani has the chance to become one of the great shooters in the conference this season.
