Raekwon HortonRaekwon Horton – Keenan HS
Horton is the best player in the Region and is the Prep Hoops Player of the Year candidate this season. Horton rook a official visit earlier this fall to UNC-Wilmington. Horton has plenty of college interest and offers on the table. Horton 6’6 has the ability to create his own shot anywhere on the floor. Horton will join up with Sophomore Jazian Gortman to lead the Raiders in scoring the ball this season.
Joe BarrinoJoseph Barrino – Keenan HS
Barrino made his way into Columbia after playing at Buford HS in the Upstate. Barrino is a great glue guy and rebounder. Barrino plays bigger than his size in the post and extremely hard at all times.
Destin ClarkDestin Clark – Indian Land HS (Indian Land – near Rock Hill-Fort Mill area)
Clark is strong scoring guard that averaged just over 30 ppg last season. Clark has the ability to overpower other guards on his way to the basket. Clark likes to play on contact and really sees the floor well with his court vision. Clark will need some help this season to keep Keenan HS away from running away with the region.
Trajon PateTrajon Pate – Camden HS
Pate is the leader for Head Coach Ron McKie and the Bulldogs. Pate has the ability to knockdown the 3 ball but at times plays a bit timid at times. Pate and Crews will keep he Bulldogs in a lot of games this season along with some young players coming up the ranks.
Kasean CrewsKasean Crews – Camden /HS
Crews had a good season last season for the Bulldogs after averaging 16 ppg. Crews likes to play off the ball and has a scorer’s mentality approach.
Sintell QuattlebaumSintell Quattlebaum – Fairfield Central HS (Winnsboro)
Quattlebaum is a slender-lanky player who really likes to play with the ball in his hands. Quattlebaum has great court vision with the ball. Quattlebaum must get stronger and be able to fight through contact to the rack for the Griffins.
