They boast one of the best inside/out duos in Birmingham and the surrounding area. Take a look at Ramsay’s duo and how they impact the Rams.
Kisean Johnson- 6’1 combo guard and team leader. Does it all for his team. Athletic. Can play on and off the ball. Improved 3 level scorer. At his best making plays off the bounce. Defends both guard spots. active on ball defender. Worth noting he has been recruited to play next level in both football and basketball.
Defending Kisean- Have to play him straight up. Kisean is too athletic and skilled to be crowded, and he embraces physicality. Do your best to keep him out of the paint. Turn him into a jump shot shooter. Do not over help on his drives, because he is a willing passer to open teammates.
Keshawn Murphy- Very skilled forward. Great length and athletic ability at 6’9. Moves well on the floor. Comfortable making plays off the bounce. Can play above the rim. Very good shooting mechanics and stroke. Can defend multiple positions. Active rebounder. Good shot blocker. Will probably see time more time at the 4 in college.
Defending Keshawn- Teams will have a hard time playing Keshawn. He reminds me of Watford, but not as polished. Can’t let him hit spot up 3s. Can’t lose contact with him on rebounds. Stunt hard on post catches. Make him give up the ball early. Do not let him survey the defense.
