Louisiana Top 250: Top 2021 Guards pt. 2

<p><strong>Camryn Carter 6'2 East Ascension</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Carter was as good of a player as was in the gym. This was the 2nd year that he has attended camp, and you can definitely tell he’s put work in his game over the past year. He is a shifty combo guard that creates separation really well. His jump shot looks much improved, and was as tough of a finisher as you could find. </span></p> <p><strong>Jordan Boston 6'2 Sophie B. Wright</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Boston is a long, athletic combo guard with a pretty versatile game. He is a more than willing passer, and consistently created help situations when attacking and found the open man more often than not. The form on his jump shot looked a lot cleaner than the last time I saw him, and that looks like an area of his game that he has definitely been working on. </span></p> <p><strong>Zavier Sims 6'1 Lee Magnet</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">My biggest takeaway when watching Sims plays was the he was a Jack-of-All-Trades type of player. He does a lot of things really well on the basketball court, and is able to affect the game in a ton of different ways. That is something that coaches are always looking for. If your shot isn’t falling, then how are you helping the team win, and I feel like Sims has a lot of different answers to that question. </span></p> <p><strong>Jamaar Moore 5'9 Washington Marion</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Moore was one of the standout performers from camp, and a lot of that simply came from his motor and how hard he plays on both ends of the floor. He was one of the better defenders, and was able to cause a ton of steals on the defensive end, and then finished well in transition on the offensive side of the ball. He was able to score in bunches, and when he got going there wasn’t much the defense could do. </span></p> <p><strong>Nathaniel Braden 6'0 Lakeview</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Braden was another one that was able to hang his hat on just how hard he plays. He plays with a ton of competitive fire, and wanted to win not just every game, but every possession. He is a heady lead guard, and I definitely felt like his team went as he went at times. In transition, he is a blur and speeds past the defense on the way to the rim. </span></p>
