Linwood Grandy (2020) – Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro) – Kinston Ballers
Grandy is a big wing that plays on the Grassroots Circuit with Team Trezz. Grandy averaged 16.1 ppg this past season at Wayne Country Day. Grandy finished on the break several times this week in transition. Grandy likes to play above the rim at times and was quite consistent from the perimeter this week. Grandy is a very versatile player who can defend multiple positions on the floor.
CK EverettCkavyion “CK” Everett (2019) – Quality Education Academy / John A. Holmes HS (Edenton) – Kinston Ballers
Everett needs to be a half-time entertainment with his athleticism and acrobatics. Everett told Prep Hoops he was looking to sign with Pitt Community College (NC) in the near future on his birthday. Everett excels in transition and finished at the rim with several dunks. Everett
Quan Hamilton (2020) – Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston) – Kinston Ballers
Hamilton really lacks a true position on the floor. Hamilton a left-handed wing rebounded the ball quite well for his size. Hamilton did most of his scoring around the basket. Hamilton plays at a small NCCSA school
Jaydin Spillman-MartinJaydin Spillman-Martin (2022) – Team Fly 2022 – Davie County HS (Mocksville)
Spillman-Martin was moonlighting and playing for Team Fly 2022 here this week. Spillman-Martin usually runs with Team Phoenix. Spillman-Martin 6’6 has great length and runs the floor well. Spillman-Martin rebounds the ball on both ends of the floor and keeps the ball up high.
Jeremiah Jones (2022) – Denver Nuggets – East Lincoln HS (Denver) (pictured on the front)
Jones is a pass first point guard who plays the game very mature for his age. Jones 5’10 played on a (29-3) Mustangs team this past season. Jones is a good vocal leader on the floor and can direct traffic very well. Jones will for sure be a name you will be hearing in the years to come in the Hoop State.
