AOT Advances to Bracket Play

<p><strong>Augusta, Georgia</strong> - The Nike Peach Jam tournament began Wednesday afternoon and will end this Sunday July 14th. Georgia's own AOT Running Rebels have finished 4-1 in their pool and will advance to the elite 8 and bracket round of the tournament that will begin tomorrow Saturday July 13th. This has been good for head coach Omar Cooper and his staff to advance this year after not advancing during last summer's tournament.</p> <p>The Running Rebels have been led by their star duo of <strong>2020 PG Sharife Cooper</strong> and <strong>2020 SG Brandon Boston Jr.</strong> Cooper has averaged 23.0 points per game while dishing out 9.7 assists per game in four games he has played for AOT. Brandon Boston Jr. has been averaging 20.8 points per game for the Running Rebels in four games. </p> <p>Their mission has not been completed as of yet, as they are looking to be crowned champions on Sunday afternoon. The Running Rebels defeated Mokan Elite (KS), Meanstreets (IL), Pro Skills (TX), and Woodz Elite (AR) in their route to the elite 8. They will be facing Boo Williams (VA), a team they already defeated earlier in the season. </p>
