Dayvion McKnight, Collins – Dayvion remains the best point guard in the rankings and keeps seeing his college stock improve. The lefty is an elite rebounder as a guard and can take over games if necessary. McKnight is a winner who makes the right plays and always looks to involve his teammates.
Amirion Joyce, Bourbon County – The biggest riser in the latest version of the rankings, Joyce is able to penetrate the defense and score at the rim. His perimeter shooting is lacking but he has shown the ability to knock down open shots and has the athleticism to be a good defender.
Amari Taylor, Tates Creek – Taylor has had some of the worst luck in recent years as he has been bitten by the injury bug multiple times. When he’s able to play with the ball in his hands, Amari is a better prospect than when he’s stuck off the ball. He’s a good play maker at 6’2.
Dallas Rufus, Waggener – One of the best players that you never hear about, Dallas should have a big Senior season now that he has the keys to the Wildcat offense. Rufus is a smooth lefty who can score the ball and plays with an edge to him that other kids lack.
James Taylor, Pleasure Ridge Park – Taylor is a solid small college prospect who is at his best running a team. He’s not a great shooter but James is able to get to the rim and finish well.
Other Names to Know:
Nik Sorrell, Glasgow – One of the best scorers in Western Kentucky, Sorrell is a three sport star for the Scotties.
Tyren Moore, Male – One of the state’s most electric scorers, Tyren has a D2 scholarship offer already.
Jabari Kyle, Middlesboro – One of the new additions to the rankings, Jabari can score or create for others.
Malachi Corley, Campbellsville – Likely to be a football player in college, Malachi has offers for basketball and football.
Zak Perdew, Bullitt East – A high IQ floor general who can also score the ball, Perdew has college interest from all over.
