Below are some of the state’s players to keep your eyes on in the 2020 class
Tuck Lang Tuck Lang 5'8" | PG Minneola | 2020 State KS , 5’9, G, 2020, Minneola
A left handed sniper who has terrific form and a great sense of floor space. He let it fly from several feet behind the three-point line and is it dagger into the defensive zone that leaves him an inch of space. He is a strong ball handler and the smooth player who knows how to find his shots whether he has to create it for himself or catch-and-shoot. He is going to find a way to get on the board inside or out.
Gunner Coffman, 5’11, G, 2020, Clifton-Clyde
Kaufman can score some for himself and also play thoughtful ball. He is a good defender and looks to stay upfront and in the space of his opponent. He can assist well and has good vision with the ball in his hands. He rebounds well and can come down with the ball when he’s in position and has the right matchup.
Austin Snyder, 5’9, G, 2020, Moscow
A strong defensive player who lets his defense set a tone for him. He is aggressive on the ball and has quick hands if you come away with the steel and make solid decisions in transition. He’s also an impressive rebounder for his size and can finish plays and knock down shots from the perimeter and inside depending on his match-up and opening.
Preston Woodruff, 5’6, G, 2020, Meade
a smaller guard who works extremely hard and is quick on his feet. He can score if you need a bucket, assist if he finds it open man, rebound if the ball is near him and come away with a steel if opponents aren’t paying attention. he runs the floor and looks to make an impact however you can.
Andrew Leonard, 5’10, G, 2020, Nemaha Central
A solid point guard who can play physical and handle defensive pressure. He looks to pass to his teammates and is a thoughtful player. He can score some for himself and has good instincts when the ball swings his way.
