Grind Premier 2020
Grind has been really good this Spring when we have watched. Tricky team with some true under-the-radar guys. Good size and strength when at full strength. Maybe a piece or two away from being very good. The play of guys like Steinman and Munoz has been huge.
Player Who Stood Out: Kai Steinman – 6’2 SG 2020 – Ben Davis (IN)
Kai is an interesting guard with a lot of toughness. Really liked his game during the high school season and he seems to be showing that off even more this spring. Good touch on that jumper as well. Could be a sneaky player in the class.
Player We Want To See More: Malik Tansmore – 6’5 PF 2020 – Crispus Attucks (IN)
Malik is an interesting prospect. Haven’t seen him before this Spring and he has a good frame to build upon. Strong and capable of giving you some flexibility on the defensive end. Want to still see more to see how high the upside is.
Player Who Is Under-The-Radar: Matt Munoz – 6’6 PF 2020 – Southport (IN)
Munoz is one of those guys that seems to be sliding under the radar for a number of reasons. He isn’t the tallest post player, he isn’t the most skilled, but every time you watch him he gets things done and produces. Really mobile and a difficult matchup for some bigger posts.
One More To Know: Josh Shannon – 6’4 SF 2020 – Ben Davis (IN)
Josh is one of those guys that seems to just need a break. Good body, strong, and has some skill but needs to really put it all together. He’s a capable ball handler with some upside as a creator. Want to see more.
