Georgia Grassroots:Bob Gibbons TOC

<p>One of the most prestigious events in grassroots basketball, will take place in Suwanee this weekend. The Bob Gibbons TOC will tip-off in the Gwinnett county area. Over 200 teams will participate in the unofficial Southern national championship this weekend. Bob Gibbons TOC started years ago in North Carolina. Duke, North Carolina, and NC State was the location then. Since it moved farther south, Suwanee has been the home for this event. A lot of good teams in both divisions for the 16u bracket. The Warner Robins Xpress in the orange division, maybe the hottest team in Georgia. The 17u black division is loaded with EYBL, Adidas, and UAA squads. Is this the weekend <strong>Walker Kessler and Game Elite Florida</strong> make a run at a title? Game Elite underachieved during the Adidas Gauntlet league play. This could be a good weekend to bounce back. One name that has been on the rise this spring, is <strong>Georgia Star's Naheim Alleyne.</strong> He has helped his squad stay in contention in EYBL league play by going 4-4. AC Georgia Black may be the best squad in the Orange division.
