On Friday, April 12, the second annual Oregon High Academic Exposure Showcase will be held at Lewis & Clark College in Portland. Created by Chase Young (founder of Seattle Select), Brant Minor (founder of MaxHoops Exposure Camps), and James Johnson (Hoop Salem Director), the showcase will give many preps a chance to be seen and evaluated by many of the top college coaches in the Northwest.
Coaches from colleges and universities from the NWC and SIAC are expected to be in attendance at the showcase.
Some of the top Oregon high school basketball players expected to attend this year include:
Dominic Blake (2019 Columbia Christian) – Unsigned senior point guard can push the ball up the floor and makes good decisions.
Grant Jordan (2020 Mountain View) – Lanky 6-foot-4 swingman emerged as a junior and can score both inside and out.
Guy Littlefield (2020 Forest Grove) – Powerfully built 6-foot point guard can really get into the lane and is improving as an outside shooter.
Jett Sheng (2020 Catlin Gabel) – Shifty 5-foot-11 point guard can hit from the outside or create off of the dribble and has the knock of hitting big shots.
Jayden Vranes (2020 Crater) – Junior 5-foot-11 point guard plays with a very high motor on both ends of the floor.
Elijah Munyan (2021 Columbia Christian) – Athletic wing can really finish in transition but can also step out and knock down open threes.
Nate Rawlins-Kibonge (2021 Jefferson) – Strong and athletic 6-foot-7 big man can really dominate defensively and is working on refining his perimeter skills.
Jonah Zeller (2021 Catlin Gabel) – Developing 6-foot-9 big man who can face up and shoot it on offense and block shots on defense.
